AUSGAR ADDS ENGINEERING PROCESS GUIDE TO PUBLICATION LIBRARY

On behalf of the Department of Navy’s (DoN) Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) program, AUSGAR is pleased to announce the distribution of a new Engineering Process Guide on Lithium Battery Safety. This guide is a DoN SBIR Experimentation Cell (DoN-SEC) effort and provides a focused view into requirements and references for lithium battery processes in experimentation. Additional guides in development include the Laser Safety Review Guide, Ship Rider Orientation Guidebook Version 2 and Engineering & Installation Guidebook Version 2. The DoN-SEC team is also commencing development of a guidebook geared exclusively towards government contractors. To continue sharing and hosting information libraries, DoN-SEC has two new sites on DTIC and LinkedIn dedicated to drawing engagement and participation. Current experimentation events the team is facilitating SBIR participation in include the U.S. Fourth Fleet/DoN-SEC Limited Objective Experiment, Coastal Trident, and Joint Interagency Field Experimentation (JIFX).
