AUSGAR provided all aspects of cybersecurity and integration support to include system security design recommendations, C4 systems integration, all DIACAP/RMF authorizations for unmanned underwater vehicles, mobile command centers and the RDT&E lab. Obtained all SATCOM approvals, performed CDS accreditation, and provided TEMPEST/EMSEC support as well as anti-tamper sensors integration. AUSGAR also ensured IATTs were in place. Provided onsite system engineering support for experimentation scenarios (both CONUS and OCONUS).
Since 2014, AUSGAR has provided security engineering services to the MK18 UUV FoS program systems, primarily at Naval Information Warfare Center Pacific (NIWC PAC). MK18 program Government representatives consult AUSGAR cybersecurity subject matter experts (SMEs) for recommendations, guidance, and innovative solutions on all cybersecurity-related engineering, lifecycle support, and compliance requirements.
AUSGAR led and provided comprehensive Cybersecurity Engineering and Assessment and Accreditation (A&A) support for the Harvester Program as part of an overall DTRA effort to design, develop, and field a fully integrated, ground and air based, geographically dispersed, centrally managed, operational nuclear forensics capability that could accurately identify and characterize a limited nuclear attack. AUSGAR obtained Harvester MQ-9 cybersecurity approvals from the Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Deputy Assistant Commissioner in the Office of Information Technology (DAC-OIT). The authorizations obtained by AUSGAR allowed the Harvester MQ-9 system to immediately begin operational testing and fielding. Data collected by the Harvester system will be used to help national and military leaders identify what type of device was detonated, where the materials came from, and work towards determining who launched or supported the attack.
