CANES

For the Consolidated Afloat Networks and Enterprise Services (CANES) for the Navy, AUSGAR serves as the cyber security test lead and serves as a validator for Afloat Core Services (ACS).  The firm also serves as the CANES Operational Security Control Assessor lead and Trusted Agent for Afloat Authorization to Operate under Risk Management Framework (RMF). AUSGAR also provides security engineering services for HBSS and future versions of CANES.   Our personnel worked with the Navy and ONI to pilot a joint Assessment under RMF.

Zumwalt

Since February 2022, AUSGAR has been delivering Cybersecurity Engineering support to the US Navy’s cutting-edge DDG-1000 Class Destroyer’s Zumwalt Operating Environment (ZOE) network.

The AUSGAR Team plays a pivotal role in offering direct Cybersecurity support to the PMS-500 Program Office encompassing a wide range of tasks, including managing changes to the enterprise environment, driving the associated Risk Management Framework (RMF) processes, conducting continuous monitoring, and collaborating closely with NIWC PAC engineers throughout the System Development Lifecycle.

THREAT HUNTING/INCIDENT RESPONSE

Provide enterprise-level threat hunting and analysis using industry-proven tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTP) using Open-Source Threat Intelligence (OSINT). Our Threat Hunting practices align with the MITRE ATT&CK Matrix to classify attacks and assess organizational risk. We maintain an Incident response capability to identify, contain, eradicate, and recover from attacks carried out by insider threats and\or outsider attacks by would-be bad actors.
