AUSGAR participated in the US Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Chief Information Officer Tour of San Diego’s innovative commercial companies on April 30 – May 1st 2018. Hosted by San Diego’s Cyber Center of Excellence (CCOE) and San Diego Regional Economic Development Corporation (EDC), the Tour focused on how the San Diego region continues to develop as a hub for technology and cyber within the United States. AUSGAR and Unisys Corporation were two of only nine companies tapped by CCOE and EDC to present their innovative products and initiatives to the over 30 senior federal CIO participants. AUSGAR and Unisys Corporation presented the Unisys Stealth technology, which has broad applicability to the cyber security needs of DHS. The Stealth capabilities include controlling network and data access by using identity-based micro-segmentation, protecting communications with strong encryption, hiding critical assets from adversaries, and automatically quarantining compromised assets.
