Chris Dillman joined AUSGAR in 2007 as an Experimentation Planner supporting Fleet Experimentation and the Trident Warrior Program. Chris has supported the Navy for over 36 years as a 20-Year Veteran and Senior Chief Electronics Technician (ETCS) before becoming a DoD Contractor. With over 17 years’ experience in all facets of experimentation including Engineering, Operations, Analysis, and project planning; he has conducted thousands of experiments on ships, aircraft, submarines, and Naval bases.
Chris attended Saint Leo University for an undergraduate degree in Business Administration/Technology Management. He also has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a specialization in Project Management from Saint Leo University. He has had two jobs his entire adult life – the Navy and AUSGAR. He vigorously supports our armed services members in maintaining technical superiority through valued decisional data obtained through scientific experimentation.
Chris is currently the Experimentation Business Manager/Program Manager and runs the core competencies for all AUSGAR programs. He manages the DoN SBIR Experimentation Cell, Fleet Experimentation, Fleet Design, and all initiatives under the AUSGAR Experimentation portfolio.
In his free time, Chris enjoys spending time with his adult children and five grandchildren. Chris passionately supports bereaved parents through The Compassionate Friends non-profit organization – providing friendship, understanding, and hope to those going through the natural grieving process.
