Jim Cuff is responsible for business development and improving business processes at AUSGAR. He also spearheads a number of initiatives to improve employee engagement.
Jim brings a wealth of related experience to AUSGAR. A management consultant since 2014, he most recently supported the CEO of a FORTUNE 500 company, serving as the interim president of the firm’s government services division and eventually facilitating the sale of the business unit to private equity.
Prior to that, he held the position of Executive Vice President of corporate development at SAIC, an $11 billion federal contractor, where he managed business development, strategy, and mergers and acquisitions. In this position, Jim implemented programs that led to a record number of $100 million+ wins. He was also instrumental in helping SAIC separate into two publicly traded companies.
Jim’s career at SAIC included serving nine years as general manager and senior vice president of a $700 million business unit focused on logistics and engineering services.
He has a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural and Managerial Economics from the University of California, Davis. He is a member of the National Defense Industrial Association (NDIA) and the Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association (AFCEA), and a board member of the Aerospace Museum of California. Jim has also completed the Leadership at the Peak program at the Center for Creative Leadership.
Married for 29 years, Jim spends his off hours exploring the great outdoors. And he is passionate about supporting the U.S. armed forces.
